Stress causes a MESS.

Have you ever heard the expression, “Stress causes a mess?!” I never believed it was true until my life seemingly turned into an awful disaster all at once a couple weeks ago. *Sigh* How come our mothers have all the wisdom?! 😉


Stress is like cancer to the bones. It’s not healthy nor beneficial for yourself or those around you! I’ve learned this the difficult way.

On social media especially, its easy to feel that everyone else has their life together and aren’t struggling with anything. We tend to share the amazing experiences, events and opportunities that come about with the public and then secretly keep our personal struggles and life challenges that are going on to ourselves.

Let me flat out tell you that literally everyone is going through something that you don’t know anything about.

I’m talented at keeping all that I’m going through bundled up until the last possible second. Then I let all my emotions out like a flood gate, but not in a positive way. I tend to take my anger, frustration and hurt out on those closest to me because of all the stress that I let build up inwardly. One of my 2018 goals is to work on managing my emotions and avoiding stress.

Listed below are 5 tips that I am going to be incorporating into my life to help me learn to avoid these stress problems and emotional build-up. I also want to begin sharing more of my struggles on social media this way more people are willing to stand up and admit that we are all flawed and have problems going on. Life isn’t always rainbows and unicorns. Yet, I find that makes it a daring, wild adventure that can be enjoyable if you learn to navigate the right way.
